Much ado has been made in the media about Julian Assange’s “Wikileaks” organization, which has been slowly releasing the private emails of Hillary Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta.
While many of the emails have been embarrassing, revealing the extent to which Hillary Clinton’s image is crafted and carefully controlled by staffers (who guessed), none of the emails yet have been truly damning despite attempts from the Trump campaign to take several out of context.
Donald Trump thinks that the media should be talking more about these leaks, however. He thinks that CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, ABC should stop talking about the women who are accusing him of sexual assault, and start talking about the fact that the Hillary Clinton campaign is indeed, political and played politics.
He has tweeted about “Wikileaks” quite a bit. Well, at least, he has tweeted about something to “Wikileaks.”
In these three instances over the course of four months Donald Trump has tweeted about which is not an organization, or a word of any kind. These tweets have received a combined 46,000 retweets, with potentially countless impressions across Twitter.
The misspelling features the (not) word “leakes” instead of “leaks.” Perhaps Donald Trump was thinking of entertainment personality NeNe Leakes?
And to be fair, Donald Trump has managed to spell the organization “Wikileaks” correctly in four instances on Twitter.
